Tax & Accounting Manager

About the Role

We are seeing a Tax and Accounting Manager for our Miami, Florida office to work in a team environment and supervise all aspects of Business counseling, accounting, and tax preparation for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and motivate seniors and associates by reviewing their work and providing them with counseling and leadership.
  • Supervise associates’ assignments and manage the day-to-day delivery of tax services to the client. Assign work and ensure tasks and responsibilities are completed timely.
  • Develop engagement team, preparing seniors to the next level with regular training.
  • Conduct tax research.
  • Develop recommendations and implement plans for clients and team members.
  • Manage and deal with tax notices from the authorities.
  • Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Prepare complex tax returns (such as forms 8621, 5471, GILTI, 8865, 8858, multi-states 1120 etc. Service clients’ specific needs and identify value-added solutions for clients.
  • Ensure the clients are compliant with the regulations and laws, and that accounting principles are followed.
  • Oversee accounting transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and the general ledger etc.
  • Manage month-end, quarterly-end, and year-end closing.
  • Prepare and ensure the financial reports are accurate and timely delivered.
  • Organize financial data into usable information and maintain updated records.
  • Occasionally assisting external auditors by providing required statements and information for the annual audit.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years’ working experience as an Accountant or related occupation, demonstrating

Required Skills

  • Experience must have included supervisory or management roles
  • A solid knowledge of accounting tools such as QuickBooks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word

Accountant / Bookkeeper

About the Role

As a Bookkeeper / Accountant within our US Corporate Accounting team in Canada, you will play a key role in supporting our American clients and driving international projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing full-cycle bookkeeping for U.S. clients
  • Performing bank reconciliations and month-end journal entries
  • Contributing to U.S. financial statement preparations
  • Communicating directly with clients and collaborating with multicultural teams 

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
•    French DUT/BTS in accounting + a minimum of 4 years working experience

Branch Manager (French language required)

Position Overview:

The Branch Manager is leading the operations of a local branch of Jade Fiducial, a firm specializing in international tax and accounting services. This role combines operational management, client service, and strategic leadership. The Branch Manager oversees accounting and tax preparation activities, drive business development initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality financial and advisory services. Working closely with executive management, the Branch Manager contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while fostering a collaborative and service-oriented culture within the branch.

Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes:

  • 7+ years of accounting experience in a public accounting environment (knowledge of US and French accounting and financial statements strongly preferred).
  • 3+ years of tax preparation experience for international clients (corporate, partnership, and high-net-worth individuals preferred).
  • 3+ years of proven experience growing and managing a team.
  • 3+ years of experience and knowledge of specific international income tax compliance.
  • Proven ability to handle a high-volume workload at a high level of efficiency including monitoring production and payroll processing; answering technical processing and accounting questions; client reporting and client advisory services.
  • Must be bilingual in French.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in writing and maintaining complex reporting.
  • Proven business development experience and past track record of generating new revenue.
  • High proficiency with accounting and office software applications.

Qualified candidates should have a strong commitment to client service with proven demonstration of technical tax expertise and experience working with international clients, including individuals, corporations, and partnerships with cross-border operations


Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes:

  • 5+ years of experience in a CPA firm with international clients
  • 5+ years advanced tax knowledge and experience including ability to research complex issues within state/federal/international tax codes
  • Superior knowledge of various tax and office software applications (Ultra Tax, CCH, BNA, Gosystem Fasttax, MS office professional pack, etc.)
  • Proven experience effectively working with clients and team members, either directly, via phone or in writing, to answer technical questions, offer advice, or make recommendations
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts
